I seem to have been wrong
I was under the impression that my back pain was caused by overdoing one exercise or another even though I couldn’t work out exactly where I went wrong. And underneath I still had some anxiety about heart issues even though my symptoms seemed to indicate otherwise. It was more the worry that I should have gotten checked out just to be sure. But now I’m not at all worried on that account because I remembered last night how I hurt myself.
Just to preface, I have a plastic garden chair that I’ve been using for a desk chair for several months since mine was taken by Game Fanatic because his broke and was irreparable. The chair was bought for me to use in the shower post-surgery and has always been inside. Anyway, some things had been draped across the back of the chair last Sunday night and I stood up to do something and accidentally knocked the chair backwards about the time I started to sit down. I didn’t quite hit the chair on that occasion and instead landed with bottom on the floor and my left shoulder and back against part of the chair. While the chair isn’t particularly strong it obviously is solid enough that I felt pretty battered by the time I righted myself that night. I figured at the time that some bruises might come out but I didn’t feel like there were any issues.
And then I seem to have forgotten all about that incident until last night. This seems to explain everything that’s been happening this week and totally rules out any worries about my heart. So when I went to exercise at the gym today I wasn’t at all anxious about working too hard and enjoyed myself a lot more than I have lately. I even gave the rowing machine a bit of a go and it went well. Still haven’t seen my physio so I hope I can get in on Monday and be sure I haven’t knocked anything around that shouldn’t be knocked around.

It was bound to happen
Yesterday marked the end of the second full month of our memberships at the local gym. It’s gone mostly well and even the occasional off-days didn’t put me off much. I’ve had to take time off the rower due to struggles in the past week or so with stamina and pace. I’m sure it will be fine later on. After taking it easy for a couple days I decided to go for the spin “class” in the fitness on demand room. It’s essentially a video class but with the fancy equipment. One of the spin bike positions has you leaning across the handlebars in “aero” position and at this point I got a sharp pain shooting down my arm from my shoulder. Stopping and starting again didn’t help so I avoided that position and made a couple other adaptations to the exercise and got through the class.
I must admit to getting anxious about heart issues as I recalled something like this as a symptom of heart attack. I decided I’d just take it easy through the rest of my exercise and see how things went. Later on I worked out that that the issue must be my shoulder because each time I moved my arms in certain positions I’d get the pain again. Also there’s a very tender spot on the shoulder which reminded me I’ve had repeated injuries to the shoulder over the past ten or fifteen years and most were never properly treated. I’m trying to get in to see my physio and see what I’ve done this time. Meanwhile I will stick with safer exercises like the treadmill and exercise bike so some healing can occur.

From Picasso to Warhol
This modern art exhibit has been installed at our local museum from the New York Museum of Modern Art since the middle of the year. I wouldn’t say I’m that heavily into art and some of the modern art draws even less of my attention. But I couldn’t resist the chance of seeing a real Picasso and even the Warhol pieces. The exhibit includes fourteen masters of modern art and is the first of several exhibits coming to Perth from MoMA. Seeing that Lego Lover is homeschooling, I decided it was time for him to have some exposure to art in the form an an art gallery.
I think it was late August when my plan to visit the museum finally took some shape and Lego Lover and I took the train into Perth to see the exhibit. We didn’t start all that early that day so arrived in early afternoon. Once in Perth, Lego Lover was hungry so we had to get some lunch. Finally at about 1pm we walked over to the museum. It was closed! It seems the exhibit is closed on Tuesdays and it was Tuesday. Lego Lover was delighted because he had no interest in seeing this modern art. I was sorely disappointed though as I’d got myself all worked up to see it.
As we’d gone to the trouble of going into the city, I decided to make the best of it and take Lego Lover to the WA Museum. This, it turns out was an excellent idea and he had a wonderful time there. By this time my knee was tired out and I ended up sitting down quite a bit. But Lego Lover enjoyed going around to see the exhibits and would have happily spent the day there, I think. Unfortunately it was getting late in the afternoon so we had to make our way back home as peak hour was soon upon us. As it was, the school kids were all out and the trains were pretty full the whole way back.
Last month, we finally went back to see the art exhibit, going straight from dropping the car off for its regular service in the morning to the bus station, and then catching the train into Perth. I was a bit worried about the crowds and hoping I wouldn’t regret not buying tickets ahead of time but it was all fine. There were some crowds there but it wasn’t horrendous. The first part of the exhibit was the Picasso section and there were probably 15 pieces. Lego Lover wasn’t too impressed by the style of most of the paintings but there were a couple that sort of resembled the real world a bit more, including a self-portrait of his from 1901. I found it quite interesting to see the paintings up close and even liked a couple of them quite well. One was a large mural piece  called Night Fishing at Antibes and I must admit that part of the appeal was the strong use of the color purple which is my favorite.
The next artist was Henri Matisse and I found the art style in the works on display really didn’t appeal to me all that much. This surprised me as I was sure I was familiar with some of his work and liked it. I need to do more research and determine whether I was just mistaken or if there really are some of his works that I like.
On to Brancusi who seems to have been a painter and sculptor. He had a drawing that I think maybe have been called something like Newborn with a rather egg-shaped image used to represent the newborn. Later on we found a bronze sculpture that seems to be based on the painting. Or maybe the painting was based on the sculpture. They weren’t the same but seemed quite similar in style. Another sculpture was called Endless Column and Lego Lover was quite annoyed with it as it appeared anything but endless. I must admit that for something that should have been endless, it seemed a bit lacking in height to provide that illusion. I found his sculptures Bird in Space and Young Bird more interesting, especially the latter as it did look like it could have been a bird in a nest of sorts if you used some imagination.
A couple of Mondrian’s works, or perhaps his style, were instantly familiar to me when I saw them. I think the piece called Trafalgar Square is something I’ve seen in books or represented in film or somewhere. While familiar I didn’t find the style that appealing. But he did have a painting called View from the Dunes with Beach and Piers which did appeal to me with its sea theme. My first thought was it seemed like an impressionist style but an online search reveals it is a naturalistic style. Just goes to show how little I know of art.
Possibly the least impressive part of the exhibit was the Duchamp portion which starts off with a fairly ordinary snow shovel just hanging from the ceiling. Apparently it was purchased at a hardware store and the artist signed and inscribed it and this is art. Lego Lover was quite scathing of its value as art and this is one area where I find I mostly agree with him. There were also less everyday items on display but I couldn’t find any connection with any of it, much as I tried.
The de Chirico works also seemed rather familiar to me so I must have encountered his work at some time in the past. I liked his works more than most of the others on display which I suppose isn’t too unexpected as I do find some other surrealist art interesting. I think the painting on display  that I liked most was Enigma of an Autumn Afternoon.Â
There were several paintings by Fernand Léger which were interesting to see look at but I didn’t really warm to his style of painting. I find it a bit too busy and it reminded me of being in a noisy place with the sound overwhelming and exhausting me. Further, we ended up delayed at seeing all the pieces in this section due to a guide drawing a group of students around and monopolising the painting for several minutes. It’s a shame we had to wait so long to see a work that neither of us liked.
There was only one woman represented in the collection and that was Louise Bourgeois. Â I don’t recall that much of her work except that she had a series of drawings displayed and I think that was of some interest. Right now I’m struggling to recall what it was that appealed to me. I suppose it might evoke different feelings when seeing it in person than seeing it on a two dimensional image. I noticed that she was still creating art far into her life with a couple pieces within the past decade. If I recall correctly, she only died a few years ago.
There were some works by Miro and whose style seemed familiar to me even though the the works on display were not. There was also Calder and several of his sculptures and jewelry on display. Most interesting were the wire sculptures of some faces. I was surprised to find some familiarity with Romare Beardon´s work but it seems appropriate as I believe he was from North Carolina originally so I´m sure some of his work would have popped up at some point while I live there. I quite liked a couple of the paintings by Jasper Johns, who is most familiar to me with his painting called Flag. The painting I liked most was one called Map and was his take on the map of the US. He also had a painting all in white of numbers that was kind of interesting but I didn´t particularly like it all that much.
I found myself a bit underwhelmed by the Warhol part of the exhibit. It was notable that I now have seen the famous soup can paintings as a whole series, I suppose. It didn´t impact me quite as much as I expected. His Brillo box and Heinz boxes were particularly underwhelming for me and upon further contemplation I though about the people who created the designs on the boxes that Warhol copied. I´m not quite sure what I think of that but it left me questioning the whole point of it. They also screened a film of his but I only watched for a short while as it was the end of the exhibit and Lego Lover was impatient to be done and out of there.  I did like seeing his S&H Green Stamps painting and the self-portraits done in the style of the famous Marilyn Monroe ones but that was the extent of my connection with his work. This really surprised me as I thought it would be more exciting to see his work than it was.
We saw this much earlier in the exhibit but I saved it for last due as the big surprise for me was Jackson Pollock. I first came to be familiar with his work in Art 101 back in college. The memory of sitting in an auditorium looking at images of art works and seeing Pollock´s work for the first time is still quite clear. I couldn´t see the point and it seemed like a work that many of us could easily imitate. I wasn´t particularly excited to see his work at all. But then I did see it and was surprised to find it far more interesting than I would have believed it could be. There were only five or six paintings on display and one of them was clearly in the category of painting that left me quite cold. But I didn´t see that until later. There were two paintings I found rather interesting. One was his painting called The She-Wolf and I was surprised at some of the images I could see hidden within the mess of a painting. It was quite large and I could have looked at it far longer but my impatient companion didn´t allow it. The other painting I found interesting was called Shimmering Substance. While I don´t know if I would be right in saying I liked it, I found it quite fascinating in the way there were so many layers of paint. There were thick layers upon layers and it was almost a three-dimensional work in the way the paint was so textured. I´ve since seen images of the painting and it doesn´t quite capture that texture very well. While I still wouldn´t say I like Pollock´s work as a whole, I certainly got much more out of it than I´d ever have dreamed.
And so we came to the end of the exhibit and I found my way to the service elevator as I wasn´t confident about taking the stairs down at this point. After the suffering Lego Lover went through, I treated him to another quick visit to the WA Museum and his mood improved massively. We plan to return to the museum again and spend much more time there. I´d really like to look more closely at the Aboriginal gallery and also see the exhibit on wedding dresses that is currently being advertised.

Bubble tea revisited
At first I thought it was many months ago but now I think it must be nearly a year ago I tried bubble tea for the second time. I’d tried it years ago in Fremantle and it was sickeningly sweet so ignored all the bubble tea being sold around town. The bubble tea shops were nowhere near us anyway. My first taste in recent times was at our local markets and I really liked it. Funny thing is I don’t even recall which flavor now as I have settled on kiwifruit as my favorite flavor.
I tried bubble tea at Utopia, which I believe is the first bubble tea specific shop around here. They have stores in several suburbs around Perth but all are at least a half hour drive away and mostly in places I don’t frequent. But they do have some nice flavors, my favorite being black lavender milk tea. I didn’t really understand the distinction at first but the black means black tea as opposed to green tea. I think you can get the non-milk variety of the tea but I’ve never tried it before. I have tried a couple other flavors on the few occasions when I am near Utopia but I’m stuck on my favorite.
Some of the local delis also sell bubble tea and one of those near us make a pretty decent one and another makes it way too sweet.
Enter Hi Tea, which opened in May in some local everyday markets. They had moved from Northbridge, the suburb adjacent to the city center, as their lease ran out and rents were too high there. I don’t know where they were located but more recently I have discovered about three shops within 200 meters of each other. I suspect Hi Tea must have been in this area too. I was excited about the new bubble tea shop located within reasonable distance in an area I’m likely to frequent. The reviews of Hi Tea from its previous location were almost unanimously giving it high praise as they use real fruits in their tea and don’t resort to powders. I tried the place out and was underwhelmed the first time as it didn’t taste at all like the lavender milk tea I had tasted elsewhere. In fact, there was no milk component at all. Also it tasted more like a lemon tea than anything else. I decided that maybe the girl, who wasn’t a native English speaker, may have misunderstood me and given me the wrong order. I tried a second time and the tea still wasn’t quite what I expected so I had to decide whether to carry on or not. I did try once more and that was a great experience and I have been going there periodically ever since.
The last couple few times I’ve been there, I have been adventurous and tried different flavors to the lavender milk tea. Once I tried the rose milk and that was bit sweeter than I like but still okay. Then I tried the Jasmine milk and that was really nice. Last time I tried Summer Dream and it was wonderfully fruity with flavors I recognised but couldn’t place. If I’d had more time I’d have queried which fruits were in it. There are still many other flavors to try, including something called Black Widow.  On my last two visits, the owner asked me to try out new flavors he’s working on. Both were faux alcohol varieties and both flavors I’ve never tasted before. First time it was gin flavor and it did taste a bit like I’d expect gin to taste as I am familiar with its smell. The second time was easier as I am quite familiar with the smell of cognac even if I’ve not tried it before. He is releasing several new flavors next week, all of this faux alchohol range. The owner seems to be a bit of a mad scientist and loves making new flavors, which seems a good thing when you see how many choices there are. Or perhaps that’s a bad thing because it makes  the decision all the harder. I might try one of the new flavors but I doubt any will make my favorite list any time soon. I seem to have latched on to the floral flavors right now and will likely stick to those for the foreseeable future.

Kale
I seem to be leaving my updates so late that I’m too tired to write the past day or two. This is how long periods pass before I post again so I am making an effort tonight/this morning just for effort’s sake.
A couple days ago I bought some kale for the first time ever. I’ve heard a lot of good about it but had never prepared it and I thought I hadn’t eaten it. The Scientist thinks I have had it before and that’s possible if his mum made a Sri Lankan vegetable dish with it called mallung (not sure of spelling but I think this is it). I’ve read this is commonly used in the US south but I’m pretty sure I never ate it there. I did have collard greens a few times but never liked them. I suspect that may have to more to do with preparation than the vegetable itself. I don’t think collards are sold around here but will keep an eye out to give it another chance. :)
Once I got the kale, there was the question of how to prepare it. I found many recipes online, with several suggesting that it’s good to blanch it as it can be a tough vegetable. I didn’t do this but I did get inspiration from a recipe I found for fritatta with kale and mushrooms. I didn’t make a fritatta but I did saute the kale with some swiss mushrooms, onions, Â fresh yellow and green bell peppers and some grape tomatoes that were a bit past it to be used fresh. I served this with some scrambled eggs, which didn’t come out all that well. But they were acceptable and together with the veggies provided a very hearty meal that made me feel overfull.
During my recipe search I saw something about a stew that had chorizo and kale and thought that might be good and the carnivorous members of the family agreed. I bought more kale today and made a stew with some adaptations and it was okay but not so nice as yesterday. First of all, it’s getting a bit warm for soups and stews. Also, I tried to adapt some spices from a North African kale stew that was on a vegan blog for this and don’t think it was a great success. I also overdid the chilli flakes so that it bordered the threshold of being too hot for the palate. Not sure if I will revisit the kale in a stew any time soon although it might be better if done in the pressure cooker. But I do plan to make another saute version soon and even bought two bundles of it today so there may be another kale dish in my diet tomorrow. :D

Donation time
Today I donated blood again but it seemed a bit iffy as to whether it would happen or not. There seemed to be a few problems going against my chances today. Before today I would have suggested my blood pressure would be too low as it’s been quite low when I’ve checked it in the evenings lately, around 95/55 on a couple of occasions. But that wasn’t the problem today as it was very much within the normal range. The first problem was my haemoglobin level was 23 lower than the last time I gave blood. It has been within the normal range both times but it seems a drop of more than 20 requires further testing. I had some blood drawn from my vein (first time was from the finger prick test) and it was tested and it was still kind of iffy. Somehow it was given the okay after what seemed like a convoluted calculation. The second issue was the difficulty finding a suitable vein, despite me being well-hydrated. There was much tapping along the insides of my arms to find my veins and personally I found that far worse than the blood draw itself. Eventually some success was had and there were no issues with the actual donation. Even before all this, I arrived there and there was no record of my appointment on their system. I organised it all online and received a confirmation email with the day and time. After I’d finished there, I had to sit in the canteen and have a drink and some food before leaving. While there I checked my emails and I had not made a mistake as I had feared to begin with.
I was asked early on about also donating plasma as there is currently a shortage here so I am scheduled to donate plasma in a month and whole blood again in January. Apparently plasma can be given every two weeks but that’s a bit more frequent than I am willing to do right now. Besides I’m not sure my veins would hold up too well doing it that often.

No time wasted…
Game Fanatic was eighteen years old as of Friday. Today he received his first mail from the local member of parliament. I can’t help thinking it must have been posted on Friday. To clarify, Game Fanatic was sent voter registration materials a couple of times in the past year or two and he sent that in a few months ago so is now eligible and required to vote. I just didn’t think he’d be so “fortunate” as to receive this sort of mail so soon.

Wobbly
I definitely overdid the exercise yesterday and my muscles all felt so tired today. It was still the same when I went to tai chi tonight and my legs felt a bit like jelly as I wobbled along. I made it through the class and even think I managed my new moves pretty well today. In class tonight, I received a certificate recognising my achievement in completing three of the six levels of the program. It’s only taken three terms to reach that point but I am here and looking forward to getting another certificate once I’ve complete all six basic levels.
I finished off the last of the curries from Game Fanatic’s curry feast on Friday at lunch today. All that was left were a vegetable korma and curried chickpeas with spinach so I cooked a bit of rice and made a salad and had way too much food. It was still pretty tasty even though I’m not really that fond of korma curries.
I’ll be donating blood tomorrow afternoon if all goes well. After that I will be picking up my new glasses which is kind of exciting since I’ve had this pair for five years or more. The new ones are similar to what I already have except the new ones will have an anti-glare coating which apparently is better on the eyes. I will reserve judgement on that as it was another add-on charge for some fairly expensive glasses. Less expensive single vision lenses are now a distance memory for me, just as contact lenses are.

Tired
The birthday went pretty well and now it’s already two days later in a flash. Â We’ll be doing this with Lego Lover before we know it. Unfortunately, Game Fanatic hasn’t felt that great since his birthday. I suspect a bit of that is post-birthday blues which usually affects him. But he seems to also have some sort of stomach bug or something and was feeling quite unwell today. He noted tonight this is the second time in less than a month that he’s been sick and that’s unusual for him.
The weekend seems to have disappeared so easily. I had so much I’d planned to do but didn’t get around to doing. But I did accomplish one big thing yesterday when I attacked Lego Lover’s Lego area, which is in the middle of our open plan house. I’d put this off for such a long time due to his protestations that he would clean it up and his concerns about my germs (due to having handled the dogs) . Dust and dog fur had collected around the puppy fence that surrounds it (to keep dogs out) and it was filthy and in terrible disarray. I was sweeping the carpet around it and couldn’t get everything up due to that fence and I snapped and got him out there to get it done…should have done that ages ago, really, but it’s so hard to know when to push and when not to push with someone like him. Anyway, it was a good thing and he is quite happy with the result. Everything is not clean but it looks tidy and once we do the same in his room, he can set about cleaning everything and organising it properly.
Meanwhile the Scientist cleared out a lot of the weedy winter grass from one side of the driveway and it looks so much better. Hopefully we can get the other side cleared out in the next few days as there is a green waste pickup coming up next week.
I went off this afternoon to buy a bubble tea from my favorite specialty shop and discovered they had a five dollar special lunch of vegetarian food on Sundays now. I skipped the fried rice and the white rice and chose the potatoes, curried lentils with spinach and some veggies that tasted sort of roasted or lightly stir fried. That was my favorite and it had lots of broccoli and carrots and other yummy stuff in it. I’d already ordered a Jasmine bubble tea, which topped off the meal quite nicely.
I think I perhaps overdid the exercise this afternoon. I tried out the 35 minute spin class and that was a good workout in itself. But then I added in half an hour of rowing and still had the dogs to walk when I got home…It was only my feet that hurt earlier but now my body just feels tired all over. I am booked to donate blood on Tuesday so I had planned to do a workout tomorrow so I can fit in my strength training before I have to take a couple days off from my usual routines. Â I now think my body just needs a rest tomorrow and I will just do much lower intensity workouts for a couple days after that. I still have tai chi class tomorrow night so will still get plenty of exercise anyway. I was pleased to record a slight weight drop this weekend and my neck, waist and hips measurements all went down this week.
Totally unrelated, I notice my category list on the WordPress dashboard shows none at the moment. Will have to investigate further tomorrow. For now it’s off to bed to truly rest my weary body.

Chaos of life (also known as odds and ends)
After I posted about the thefts from our car, I did contact the insurance company, only to find out our policy had lapsed some time ago and we’d have been in major trouble if we had anything major happen. So it turned out to be something of a blessing in disguise as who knows when we’d have discovered the problem. It all came down to some poor communication when our bank, who acted as agent for us, changed to a different company and we wanted to stay with the one we had and our actions were a result of a misunderstanding of procedure at the time. Â Anyway, we are insured again and will just replace items stolen out of pocket.
Even though I really loved my camera that was stolen, I’m a bit excited at the idea of choosing a new camera. There are a few possibilities that present themselves and all of them have yet to be released here. I won’t buy without having a model to hold in my hands and try out it might be a few weeks until that is possible. The current contenders are Canon’s new G15, which I believe is due for release any time now. This is a couple steps up from the camera that was stolen. Canon is the brand I’ve been buying for some time so the advantage is familiarity with their system and a certain amount of trust on the quality. I am also eyeing a couple of the Olympus mirrorless PEN cameras. I was rather keen on the current mini model that was released last year, partly due to the option of getting it in purple. Alas, the newer models don’t have those color options so I will likely stick with something more traditional. But it would have been neat to have a purple camera. :)
I was invited to a Nutrimetic party last Friday and decided I’d go despite the product line being full of makeup, which I don’t usually wear. I hadn’t seen this friend for a couple of years or more and I was rather keen for us to reconnect in the real world. We’ve been in touch online in some vague sort of way most of this time but we haven’t had a good chat in a long time . I’ve been to my friend’s house before but it was during the day and has been a few years. These days I would just use my gps but now we don’t have one so I decided to use my iPad and hope for the best. Maybe it would have worked better if Google maps was still an option. The new Apple maps didn’t do a great job. I did get there but had to stop about five times to figure out where to go. It tried to send me off onto side roads instead of waiting until I got closer to my destination. Then when I finally found the street, it couldn’t help me get to the address so that I was driving back and forth along this street trying to figure out where the house was. I did get there, but was fifteen minutes late. Once there, it took me a while to settle in and I was a bit anxious with so many people I didn’t know. It did get better later on and I met a couple of people who I really liked. I didn’t buy anything though as we had another major expense show itself a couple hours before I left home. I will get to that shortly. By the end of the evening, I had a chance to talk to my friend and discovered our sons (who belonged to the same D&D group) are in similar situations with their lives and somewhat isolated. So we now have plans to reconnect properly and get out boys together too. It made the journey well worth the trouble. I had similar trouble getting out of the neighborhood when I left and ended up going in circles. The iPad app was most unhelpful and I had to stop and examine the map several times to work out where to go to get to the main road again. The program could pinpoint where I was easily enough. But giving me instructions on where to go didn’t happen…it assumed I was at another location and directed me from there and I never did work out where the starting point was. I did get home after a few mistakes of my own.Now I must backtrack a few hours to Friday afternoon. The Scientist and I went to the gym after he finished work, as has been our habit. We came home and he went off to have a shower while I took the dogs out for a walk. When I returned, he had not had his shower due to the hot water heater having died that afternoon. Always has to happen on a Friday, of course. The upside was that it wasn’t a long weekend and it’s not winter. I had to have a shower so went ahead and took one and expected it to be icy, but it wasn’t. Seems there was still a bit of warm water in the tank so that it was never uncomfortable for me. That was replaced yesterday and we are now $1500 poorer.
On the weekend, we had to make an emergency run to the vet when little boy dog got another seed in his ear. He didn’t cry out like last time but his behavior was quite uncharacteristic. He didn’t even bark at other people and animals when we got to the vet. Â It took a bit of work to find the seed and get it out but he was back to his normal self when he came out and ready to take on the world.
And today the Scientist and I went for our long overdue eye check ups. I’m getting new glasses as my current ones aren’t quite doing enough for me, especially when driving at night. I’ve had my current pair for at least five years now. I didn’t need any changes at my last appointment so I can’t complain too much. I’m not totally sure if the optometrist was as thorough with my eye tests as he could have been. I told him from the beginning about a field vision test I’d been given a few years ago that had a few issues and was supposed to have been follow up on. I didn’t get a recall on that back then but he didn’t suggest any follow up either. Also, I was somewhat disturbed that he took my glasses away and looked at them and was totally unaware of the fact they are multi-focal lenses until I pointed it out when he was offering possible options on new glasses. I’m thinking of going back to the previous optometrist and asking either for a follow up or copies of my records to take to the new one.
And this Friday, my first-born child will pass from childhood to adulthood. At least on paper. I have more to write on that later. Also, I still want to write about the visit Lego Lover and I made to the art gallery to see the Modern Masters  from Picasso to Warhol recently.
