Odd

I’ve been on Twitter for well over a year or two now , and  I don’t really use it all that much aside from reading what other people have to say and the occasional tweet of my own. On a regular basis I get an email message telling me someone new is following me. Mostly these are people that I don’t want following me. The red flag for me is that the number of people the person is following has increased massively since my email arrived (with that information included). I almost always will block those followers…although I’ve noticed lately the account has often been removed by the time I check out the new follower. Anyway, I gained a follower a few months ago and can’t work out why or how she connected with me. She follows a small number of people and has an even smaller number of followers. Most of those she follows are non-English speaking. Our one common link is that we both follow Neil Gaiman. Considering the huge numbers that follow Neil Gaiman, I can’t imagine how I came into the equation. It’s very odd .
