Scarred

I was doing weeding in the yard at MIL’s house a few weeks ago ahead of her return when I was attacked by ants. I couldn’t say what sort of ants but I suspect they might have been some sort of fire ants. At first I thought I’d scratched myself on my stomach but when I checked I could see there was evidence of ant bites/stings pretty quickly. Later that day I found there were several on my back too. Usually when I had ant bites they resolve within a few days but these were still pretty itchy a week later and only stopped a bit after that. Itg’s now three weeks and it looks like I might have scars near and  on my belly button and a couple on my stomach.

Just feeling a bit annoyed those little creatures may have left such a lasting impression. :(
