Just like that…

it suddenly turned into autumn here, bordering on a bit of early winter. Most of the month we’ve had warm temperatures and have had to run the air conditioner most days. I think Perth set a few records on high temps for April earlier on…last week it was still warm and we were still needing turn on the a/c by midday. Then a couple of days ago, it got cool…so cool that I found myself searching for my bed socks to keep my feet warm at night. There has been none of the gradual shift in seasons this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if we skip right on to winter weather in a couple weeks…although I hope it doesn’t happen like that.
